Where should the outlet go for an over the range microwave oven?
I want to do all of the electrical work before I finish the walls and floor. Over the range I am going to put wall cabinets and a microwave/hood combo. Any suggestions as to where to to put the outlet for the microwave? Right side? Left side? I realize I will have to put a hole in the bottom and back of the new cabinet.
The cords are on the right side so that's the best place for the outlet. I use a cable tie to keep the cord to the side and save room.
